Instructions for opening new accounts

Please bring the following with you to complete the account opening and application process:

  • Proof of address (utility bill, no more than three (3) months old);
  • Proof of income (pay slip no more than one (1) month old/job letter no more than three (3) months old. If you are retired, a pension/bank statement can be used);
  • Two (2) forms of valid national identification (ID card, drivers permit or passport); and
  • Proof of bank account number (required as refunds and future dividend payments will be made via ACH (direct deposit) to your bank account).

If you have an existing Brokerage account you may need to update your account details, therefore please bring the following documents with you:

  • Full payment for the number of shares being subscribed for, in a cheque made out to “First Citizens Brokerage and Advisory Services Limited”;
  • Proof of Brokerage account number (Trinidad and Tobago Central Depository statements or broker statement);
  • Proof of address (utility bill, no more than three (3) months old);
  • Proof of bank account number (required as refunds and future dividend payments will be made via ACH (direct deposit) to your bank account);
